Feelings Are Fickle

You don’t control how you feel, but you always control how you respond to how you feel.

Feelings can be fickle so it’s important to understand what they are. We can feel them, but learn to not always obey them.

If you’re feeling motivated, great! Use that to your advantage and make progress.

But you can still honor the commitment you made to yourself even if you didn’t wake up motivated.

Your feelings cannot be trusted. If you rely on them, your patterns of inconsistency will lead to your doom.

If you want to be consistent and earn championship results, you have to understand what you’re feeling, but train yourself to not be a slave to them.

Focus on your commitments and your choices. Understand that just because you feel something, it doesn’t mean you have to act on it.

Make your choices and commitments stronger than how you feel in the moment.

That’s how you build consistency.
