Where to Find Less Competition

The level of your competition decreases as the size of your goal increases.

The problem most people have is that they set average, easily attainable goals. They end up with more people around them who are also going after average.

The higher up you go, the more challenging the goal, the bigger the dream, and the fewer people there are willing to go after it.

If your goal is to be the best author in the world, then writing one book puts you above over half the population, because over half the people won’t write a book. And even fewer than that will write a second. So, you’ve already separated yourself from everyone else.

The amount of competition will be smaller, but it may be fiercer because the other individuals at that level are doing the same thing.

However, the easiest way to separate yourself is to start going after big goals instead of easy ones. Start taking on bigger challenges instead of average ones because the bigger the things we go after, the less crowded the road is to get there.

Everybody dreams about reaching big goals, but only Competitors are willing to roll up their sleeves and do the work to go after them.

Stop blending into the crowds. Start dreaming bigger, and more importantly, start living bigger.

Chase after the big goals and separate yourself by doing the things that anyone can, but only a handful will.
